Erins logo

Hey - I think that it still needs somthing to make the a look like an a. Could you try changing the font to something similar on the at and use an lower case a somthing like this: a with the top part of the a.

Maybe?

Or maybe it does not need to be really distinguishable - It says cam records in the text so maybe it is ok how it is? what do you guys think?

I am not a huge fan of the outline or the different colors - I like the original - just maybe with making the a stand out more.

can you upload the working file to box - Then I can play with it and also use it in my last web sketch.

    Sure I will upload the illustrator file now... and play with the "a" a little. I am working on the style guide and will post that first, my print examples probably wont be up until tomorrow (I want to make sure the style guide and design brief get prioritized first so we have time to revise it before class).

    Do we need a style guide to turn in - I don't think that is a top priority if you want to put it off.

    I think your right about waiting to get the style guide done until we have the final decisions made... I will just work on the brief and putting a presentation together before class that we can show for the meeting and critique. I am having a hard time finding a font that as circular as century gothic to replace the a. I kind of like that it is a little ambiguous at first, but I will keep working on finding or creating a font that will match enough with the other letters. I am about to go get some dinner and run a couple arronds... I will be back online soon to upload some more attempts.

    I will let you know if I need help with the design brief, I found a couple good templates to use as a starting point so I think I should be fine, but I might take you up on that if it starts to take a long time.
