I like your last version more. I'm not sure that storm will approve of the characters so we would need to run that by him. Also the New background pattern is too light. I like the dark gray or black gradient idea for the background. If you use a light background and color in your new illustrations the new website will look completely different.
I like the illustrations, I think they add some personality to the site... I agree with Katrina about the tiled background though, it is a little too light. Maybe we could try a similar concept in gray-scaled colors so that there isn't as much going on. I like the rounded corners, but for sake of Danielle's sanity, we might want to stick to the square corners so she doesn't have to change her templates again.
The rounded corners are easy to do with a background image - so 1 person likes the illustration and one person does not - not sure what to do - if storm did not like it they couldbe easily taken off - but we should do what looks best for a grade and portfolio - I guess we need a tie breaker

But the illustrations are cute, although I do think we should run it by Storm, since we had already got the go ahead on the last design. They might be a little put off by okaying a design and then getting something pretty different
ignore the dotted weird outline to the images - and I know the logo is wrong - Just a place holder.
